Open positions

Your primary role is to support the completion of tasks related to utility placement, replacement, and demolition.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Organize and load tools, equipment, and materials for assigned tasks under guidance.
  • Assist in job layout and site preparation as directed.
  • Perform any other duties as required by the Crew Foreman in the best interest of the company.

Install, repair, and maintain fiber optic placement, telecommunications, and cable lines. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Install, repair, and maintain overhead and underground fiber optic placement.
  • String, fix, and maintain various telecommunications, cable television, or fiber optic lines.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members.

Diagnose, test, and repair heavy-duty gas/diesel vehicles and equipment. Perform routine maintenance, responding to road calls; and documenting all repairs and preventative maintenance.

You will need to be familiar with brakes, trailer wiring, electrical and mechanical issues.

Experienced in operating heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders.

Candidates should have experience in any of the following: 

  • telecom
  • cable plowing
  • fiber/conduit installation
  • directional drilling
  • locating

We offer positions throughout Upstate New York. May require travel out of the area occasionally. Hours are Monday through Friday, with weekends off.
